Stannah was simply growing too quickly and they quickly realized they had to find ways for their System i (AS/400) systems to keep pace with the dynamic changes in their business.

This independence is vital for each of their business divisions--they need fast and flexible access to accurate information. "The biggest surprise has been the sheer versatility. There's so little we've tried to do and failed — works every time," adds Webber.
